Yorklands Starlight and Night Music

The Guelph Symphony Orchestra’s “Symphony Under the Stars” pop-up event at Yorklands Green Hub was a resounding success, enhanced by the incredible addition of Ten Telescopes. About 300 attendees carried their folding chairs to “the green,” up the long driveway opposite the superin-tendent’s house. They were treated not only to beautiful orchestral music, but also to the wonder of a night sky. It was a truly special evening. The combination of live symphonic music and stargazing created a unique and memorable experience for everyone who joined us. Following the concert, all walked down the driveway that was lighted by volunteers holding “candles.”

A dark starry night’s dream of an outdoor concert, Guelph Symphony plays at the Yorklands.

Thank you to our wonderful Guelph Symphony for these pop-up concerts, and to all who attended and made this event a magical celebration of music and the natural world.
