Territorial Acknowledgment
We acknowledge this land as part of the traditional territory of the First Nations. The Attawandaron (called Neutrals by the Jesuits) lived on this land with its two rivers and forests. The Mississaugas of the New Credit (comprised of Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe) are the stewards of the land. Our immediate neighbours are the Six Nations of the Grand River Watershed who are Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe, respectively.
