    Yorklands is situated on the Treaty and traditional lands of the Mississauga’s of the Credit First Nation who are part of the Anishinabek peoples, and the traditional territories of the Haudenosaunee as well as the Attiwonderonk (Neutral) peoples.

    We acknowledge this land as part of the traditional territory of the First Nations.  The Attawandaron (called Neutrals by the Jesuits) lived on this land with its two rivers and forests.  The Mississaugas of the New Credit (comprised of Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe) are the stewards of the land.  Our immediate neighbours are the Six Nations…
