The City Nature Challenge

🌲 The City Nature Challenge (CNC): A Thank You from Yorklands!

Whether you went for a hike, attended a training session, or captured a photo of wildlife in the park, the Yorklands Green Hub wishes to thank everyone involved with the City Nature Challenge.

Yorklands is grateful to all the local organizations that led CNC events, including the Arboretum, Nature Guelph, Bird Safe Guelph, The Wildflower Society, Freshwater Conservation Canada, The Ignatius Jesuit Centre, Guelph Public Library, rare Charitable Research Reserve, Royal City Science, and more.

We also thank those who volunteered, hosted, or assisted with any of the events and training sessions. A special thanks to the Los Angeles County Natural History Museum and the California Academy of Sciences for selecting Guelph for the challenge — we are looking forward to sharing the results!

The CNC results will be announced during YGH’s Annual General Meeting on May 14. Registration for the AGM and event details are listed below.
