Yorklands Green Hub acknowledges the great harms that were perpetrated on so many Indigenous children for the last 150 years in residential schools across the country. Some of whom came to be incarcerated at the former Ontario Reformatory/Guelph Correctional Centre.

YGH is working with our Indigenous partners toward integrating both the Indigenous heritage of the Yorklands (OR) property as well as the wise approaches of caring for the land into our programming and our narratives.
