Birdwatching for Beginners at the Guelph Arboretum

Join Pedro Hernandez of Outdoor Commute at the University of Guelph Arboretum for an introduction to birdwatching. A 30 minute lesson will be followed by a guided walk through the Arboretum learning to identify birds and their habitat. Binoculars are provided. All ages are welcome!


Please note that this event is being held at the University of Guelph Arboretum located at 200 Arboretum Road in Guelph, Ontario. This event will be entirely outdoors, so please dress accordingly. Please respect the Arboretum’s code of conduct by parking only in designated areas, staying on trails and mowed areas, and being respectful of the wildlife and their homes.

 
Registration is required for each person (adult or child) who wishes to attend. Let us celebrate spring by welcoming back the birds. This program is for those who are new to birdwatching or just beginning their journey.
