Barber Scout Camp, 733 Stone Road E., GuelphThe Walk begins at the Barber Scout Parking lot, at 733 Stone Road East at 2pm. Join us for an active and engaging walk to the quarry and through the Ontario Reformatory site, to York Road. We “walk along the edges” of the trail and have the option to walk on an upper trail to see the quarry from the top. Please note the uneven terrain and that boots are recommended as the trail may be wet from snow/rain. Join Susan Ratcliffe and Greg Stojanovski, our Walk Facilitators as they speak to the history of the quarry, the rock formations and importance of the stones on the OR site.
Please dress with consideration for the weather and the longer, active walk on dirt paths.
