Help Us Hire an Executive Director!

NEXT STAGE IN OUR STRATEGIC PLAN
Join us as we move forward with our capital campaign and further fundraise to finance this venture! Our volunteer Board has worked tirelessly for more than 3 years to create the vision. We have a network of collaborators, schools, and citizens ready and committed to participate. We are now at the point where we need to hire a dedicated, passionate and committed Executive Director who can provide daily focus to drive our vision to reality.

WHO WE ARE
In the east end of Guelph, Ontario you will find acres of meadow, woodland, and tributaries to the Grand River Watershed. Wildlife abounds and native species of plants grow thickly.  Surrounded by both farms and burgeoning suburban communities, this property is a natural heritage gem, enjoyed by walkers, paddlers and naturalists.

This property has been the Ontario Reformatory, the Speedwell Hospital and the Guelph Correctional Centre.  Today the buildings sit abandoned.  Soon, the property will be available for sale. Yorklands Green Hub is seeking to secure a 70 acre portion of this property, and one of the buildings, to develop, grow and maintain a self-sustaining education, demonstration and research hub, open to the public.
